Castel del Piano

Residence a few steps from the castle of the plot, immersed in the beautiful val d'Orcia. Very kind and available staff, clean structure, good facilities with swimming pool and tennis courts.

Good place to stay

We stayed three nights with the children, the residence is really very neat and clean, our apartment was large enough and well laid out, furnished in a suitable way with the mountain style.

It's wonderful.

Staying at home is saying 4 stars disappointing. -Too much too expensive for the few services offered. -No daily housekeeping, to pay extra on the day of check-in and partially done because you have to either clean the kitchen and throw away its garbage. -No dry hair, no TV, no soap... When you arrive you have to make the beds. -Wifi paying and not working. No phone network. -No restaurant (the place is really isolated). Housing is not functional. We can't even let the swimming pools open, housing that gives parking, and residents who talk loudly in the common areas and smoke in front of your window until 1am.

Terre Gialle is a well maintained agriturismo in a secluded spot in Castel Piano. The last one and a half kilometers is an unpaved road that ends reasonably steeply. There are a number of well maintained apartments with spacious rooms that are very clean. The kitchen is well equiped and everything is very neat. Unfortunately, most apartments have no terrace and you cannot sit outside anywhere. On the property there is a nice swimming pool which is closed in the afternoon and in the evening and is therefore not accessible. The owner is a very nice man who does a lot for his guests and every day he is looking for contact to see how you are doing. You definitely need a car to explore the area but also to go to the village in the evening or elsewhere.

Summer holiday

It was a last-minute reservation, the decision to choose a mountain place not too far from home: Monte Amiata. And it turned out to be a good choice! The residence, in fact, is in an excellent position and in addition the structure is really beautiful and well maintained.

Two steps from home!

Mini vacation of 5 days in this beautiful residence located in an adorable location for families with children as in the case of our case. apartments of various types... all perfectly well kept, clean, and complete with every comfort. The surrounding park is really a splendid... there is a beautiful pond... a cool woodland... a swimming pool suitable for everyone... a soccer and tennis court... a bowling court... all under the eyes of the custodian Alberto... always present and kind. Really recommended.

That's great.

We spent the weekend 1-3 June at the residence and...leaving it was hard!!! A magical place immersed in nature, a cozy 6-room apartment, well furnished with all the comforts, a swimming pool and green spaces well maintained and clean! Mr. Alberto is unique, attentive to all needs and always available! In the estate we even spotted a small capriol!!! We will definitely return!

It was a spectacular weekend!

The residence Terre Gialle is a residence with various apartments for 2-6 guests in a very quiet area of the Tuscany countryside (close to vineyards and hotsprings). The closest village has all the basic services and few restaurants, and the surroundings offer a larger options of service.  
We were 9 friends +1 baby +1dog scattered over 4 apartments.
I arrived at t and my reservation, booked through Booking.com, could not be found by the desk manager. So I was brought by after 30 mins to the owners, who in fact did not manage the reservations through the website. Finally the desk manager remembered where the reservation was and I entered the apartment. 
We were nicely reminded to be quiet and to be careful with the dog, since it was the first time they accepted pets (although on Booking.com it was clearly said pets were welcomed). 
The two apartments at the ground floor were extremely cold and tough to get warm. But honestly speaking the apartments were cosy and well-equipped, fairly clean. 
Not much more to highlight, apart a small pond with two white gooses. Overall our stay was OK but not impressive at all.

4 days over New Year's eve

It's a lovely place: nature, thermal springs in the vicinity, the town of Caste del Piano itself is a delight! Such lovely people!!! The air, the landscapes, the wine! The area of the hotel is small, but green, there is a swimming pool, clean. Our two-bedroom apartments, a large living room, the kitchen has everything you need. Everything is clean! If you're traveling in a car through Italy and want to feel Tuscany, you're here!

A convenient authentic location

It was a green building with swimming pool, tennis court, football and boots. We arrived in the morning and the owner welcomed us gently despite the check-in we had in the afternoon. We had an apartment with a shed that we found very clean... bathroom included. It was an unforgettable mini-vacation, the children enjoyed themselves in a safe and clean environment where healthy air is breathed, near a very nice village, where everything is beautiful and ten minutes from the Amiata mountain where you can spend days in contact with nature.
