Located directly on the vineyard

We wanted to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary with a good meal. Unfortunately, we didn't get a place on the rooftop of the restaurant, although we were house guests. On demand for an equivalent recommendation, we were called a restaurant that turned out to be good-for-nothing - but in no way matched what we wanted. Even on the second day, there was no room for us in the restaurant. But the restaurant was actually our main reason why we had chosen the hotel. It would be very desirable if the guest would have to bathe on the rooftop of the restaurant in advance. The room absolutely did not match the tickets, it was very small and dark because of the screen. It was not possible to sit on the table at night because of the tickets, but unfortunately, we did not eat anything so hot. Unfortunately, the first night we were not able to check whether it was possible to book a window on the floor, but it was not possible to keep it on the next day, because it was too hot or too cold. We were not able to keep it on the bathroom floor, and the next day we were not able to get it on the floor

Disappointing, too high a price for the room.

The reception and the really good dinner on the day of arrival still met our expectations. The cosmetics in the bathroom - shower - that we used were not replaced, however. The room was very small, although there was a coffee machine, but and this is really disappointing for a wine cellar, there are no wine glasses in the room, apart from the lack of comfortable seating in the room or the mini-balcony. We had booked 4 nights with breakfast food, and we were looking for the same four days, all of which consisted of very good morning snacks, certainly served from the breakfast. We had to make this breakfast in a different hotel, but we could not have made it much better, and then we had to make it a much better place in a supermarket, and then we would have had to make it at our own, and then we would have had to make it a much better place in the hotel, and then we would have to make it in a supermarket, and then we would have to have to make it

Not what we expected

We had booked 2 DZs in the vineyard on a nice bike tour from Rothenburg along the Tauber, and we were happy to finally be able to enjoy all the amenities in our Sehnsuchtort vineyard after a 70 km bike ride.The joy was short-lived, however, because we were opened up and there was no booking. The clear booking confirmation from Booking.com was not accepted. We also arranged (and submitted in writing) our separate reservation by e-mail with the vineyard.

It's unbelievable - it's not worth it!

Top Hotel

On our way from Switzerland to the north, we made a stop at the wine cellar, as the reviews and the entire showcase of the hotel had convinced us. We were definitely not disappointed! We were very warmly received, our pre-ordered table was reserved and the charging place for our electric car was ready. The room was modern and practical, with wonderful views of the vineyard. The highlight is definitely the restaurant: the kitchen is refined (in our opinion at the hotel's level) and the service is enthusiastic and very friendly. The wines are perfectly matched to the meal thanks to the home-planned summer vendor... we were simply thrilled! On the way back from the next morning together we decided to spend a splendid night at the wine cellar... but one night in the northern countryside:-) We decided to get the same food as we had just planned for our next meal. We decided to go back to the kitchen as soon as possible.

Like coming home

Found this place last minute on line and did not regret one bit. Beautifull completely renovated rooms in traditional building surrounded by their own vineyards.
Same thing for teh restaurant. Food os great, small menu but enough to choose from, great local wines and overall very friendly staff.
If business allowes me back in the area, I know where to stay!

what a gem!

We spent one night on a bike tour along the Tauberradweg at the Hotel Rebgut. Lauda was a bit boring as a place, so the hotel was the perfect accommodation. The rooms are located right by the vineyard in a nice quiet location. The hotel has a great restaurant with excellent wine selection. In good weather you can sit late at night on the terrace and enjoy the ambiance. The rooms are good according to the level and price, spacious and clean. Coffee and tea machines are included in the room. Only a little flaws could be made in the service. This was good overall, but at the price level still slightly increase.

Super hotel with great location and great flair

The house is located a kilometre outside the village directly in the vineyard. The winery, which was built a few years ago by the current owner, has been modernised and expanded with an expansion building for some rooms that is worth seeing. Some hectares are still being managed. The wine is offered in the restaurant. The staff in the restaurant I once called ambitious. The numerous international guests confirm that the concept of the upscale kitchen has found its customers. The lovely Taubertal is not only a beautiful area to expand, but also well stocked with successful companies. And then eaten and stayed in the vineyard! I especially liked the modern equipped room with terrace right on the vineyard. The service was competitive, and the whole area was well maintained!

Modern atmosphere in the vineyard

Absolutely, the best.  Beautiful buildings with modern, updated rooms and restaurant.  Charming cellar ideal for parties or large gatherings.  The people are extremely friendly and welcoming and make sure that all your needs are met.  Food and wine is delicious - recently had excellent veal tenderloin with polenta (really good) and a very specific local wine made from the Hölder grape.
