A loud fridge we had poured out for the night. The windows were open and the lights were on, so we had to get two insects out of the house. WLAN wasn't really stable (enough for emails, but not for videos). WLAN wasn't available in room 12, okay, in room 11. Near the highway, still very quiet.

Distant, well obscured, church bells at 6 a.m.

We spent one night in this Bed and Breakfast in the countryside, in a quiet little village near Bad Hersfeld. The owner Helmut was charming and  with the little onions . The hotel seems to have been recently renovated and its condition is impeccable. I'll go for the very comfortable bed (I'm quite difficult...). Very generous German breakfast (sweet and salty). In short, to recommend without hesitation.

The perfect stop in a bucolic charm

On the route from the Alps to Hamburg via the A7, Bad Hersfeld is about halfway down the road, so it's a good idea for a stopover. Hotel-pension Waldblick can be reached in a few minutes from the A7 via the B324 towards Bad Hersfeld. Fortunately, the firmly installed blitzer didn't catch me. In Gittersdorf, the hotel pays homage to its name, since it feels like the last house in front of the forest on the slope.

The name is program - quieter can't be anymore

The journey back from the vacation took longer than expected. So we looked for accommodation for four people plus two dogs from the resting place. 40 minutes after the call, we were received in the quiet boarding house. Despite arriving late, there was still something to eat and drink. The rooms were well furnished, the beds were comfortable, we all had a very quiet night. The next morning we were able to walk the dogs straight out of the boarding house. After a good breakfast, we went on again. The overall package suited us very well, and we can only recommend the hotel boarding house.

Absolutely commendable!

The guesthouse is quiet, you drive through the small village to the forest edge and reach the hotel here. At the reception you will be greeted with DU, you must like -> I like it. The rooms are clean, comfortable and exceed the pension standard. The staff are very friendly and open. The free Wi-Fi is extremely important, as the phone reception is very limited there!

Comfortable retirement in a quiet location

We were on our way to Germany again and the second time at the Waldblick Hotel it was very nice, very familiar again. The owner is incredibly hardworking, you get the feeling of being part of the family. All the rooms we could look at; respectively, we lived with our dog, were tastefully furnished, very clean with spacious bright baths. The house, the garden and the beautiful location by the forest, gives the guest a comfortable feeling. The breakfast is delicious, leaves no wishes. Simply a house that is very open with a love of detail - you can feel that everywhere. We return there again:o)

It's a beautiful place. It feels good here.

A spacious room, well decorated, comfortable beds. The bathroom and the rooms were very clean. The guest house is very warmly run and we spent a pleasant evening on the terrace overlooking the beautiful nature. Except for the grazing of the sheep we did not hear anything from our room. The breakfast is good and rich, the prices absolutely fine and reasonable. We will definitely be back.

A cozy boarding house in an idyllic setting

Family friendly, with a rich pensioner! Clean, spacious, not old-fashioned. Breakfast is plentiful, even with lettuce and salmon, with homemade sausage, but vegetarians also find enough cereal and fruit buffet to satiate! Anytime again!

Super nice and beautiful

We liked the scenery of the countryside with the sheep, the quiet and the breakfast, and the owner took us to a good restaurant nearby, but we had some mosquitoes because it was very hot and the weather was stormy.

A Peaceful Step in the Country

We stayed here for one night on our way from Switzerland to Denmark. The hotel is relatively close to highway A7, yet in a very quiet and peaceful area and in a very cute little village. Considering the low price, the rooms and the breakfast are more than adequate. The only thing we missed was a dinner option - a snack bar or at least flyers of a local pizza place would have been nice! Also, WiFi was available and free, but incredibly slow.
All in all, we very much enjoyed our (short) stay and would definitely come here again.
